The aim of this research is to develop a toolkit enabling to observe transversal skills of future teachers. The research was carried out with 236 students attending the Educational Technologies course at the Primary Education program at Palermo University, during academic year 2017/2018. The research hypothesis is that the knowledge of the initial situation of students, as much objective as possible, requires triangulation, comparison and integration of the information collected with three self-assessment tools. Effects of 7-OH-DPAT and U 99194 on the behavioral response to hot plate test, in rats

Aim of present study was to investigate in male Wistar rats, whether behavioral response to hot plate test application could be influenced by systemic administration of 7-OH-DPAT, a dopaminergic (DA) D3 versus D2 receptor agonist, or U 99194, a DA D3 versus D2 receptor antagonist. Each trial lasted no more than 10 s and the whole experimental session lasted 120 min. Animal behavior was recorded by means of a digital videocamera and later, frame by frame examined using a professional videorecorder. The emergency situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic required all Italian universities to implement alternative teaching strategies to traditional face-to-face lessons. At the University of Catania, this situation prompted the start of distance learning paths in a synchronous mode at the very beginning of the emergency. At the same time, the lecturers were encouraged to video-record the lessons in order to make them available to students also in asynchronous mode. The paper proposes a reflection on the educational dimension of cartoons from the double point of view of Media Education and Neuroeducation. Cartoons are either a means to highlight the educational potential of the fictional fruition practice and an activator memory, attention, emotion and perception which are at the basis of cognition and learning.
